In Home Personal Care Services

Saco River Health Services specializes in providing in home care for people across the life span: seniors, adults with disabilities, children with complex medical needs. We have compassionate caregivers who assist people to remain in their homes and provide support for parents who are caring for their children.

Our services are provided by Personal Support Specialists and Certified Nursing Assistants who provide the necessary care required for clients to live safely in their home. We can provide services two hours at a time or for longer periods seven days a week.

By calling our office and setting up a time for a visit, the client and/or family member meets with our home care supervisor to discuss the client’s needs and the families expectations for care. We develop an individualized plan of care that directs the PSS or CNA in the tasks that will assist the client. This in home visit is free to the client.

Our home care service providers assist our clients with direct and indirect care needs consisting of:

• Cooking, meal preparation, feeding, fluid and food cueing
• Bathing, dressing
• Toileting and scheduled toileting programs
• Medication reminders
• Grocery shopping
• Transferring, bed mobility, fall prevention
• Light housekeeping
• Dementia and Memory Care
